Strategi Efisiensi Pembiayaan Langganan Daya dan Jasa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah: Studi Kasus MI Mathlabul Ulum

Abstract

This article discusses the management of subscription-based utility and service expenses in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, which serve as Islamic primary education institutions in Indonesia. Using a field research approach at MI Mathlabul Ulum located in East Java, the study illustrates how the school manages its operational needs such as electricity, water, internet, and cleaning services. The findings reveal that most MIs still rely heavily on BOS (School Operational Assistance) funds and community donations, while facing limitations in monitoring systems and cost efficiency. The study recommends that MIs begin implementing energy efficiency practices and adopt more professional service contract management. These strategies demonstrate potential to improve service quality and reduce operational costs in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, based on field implementation results. Better implementation of financial management can be a key factor in enhancing the quality of education in MIs, in line with efforts to improve the competitiveness and standards of Islamic educational institutions.
