Pengaruh Work Engagement terhadap Work Productivity Remote Worker di Yogyakarta

Abstract



Work Productivity remote worker menjadi pembahasan yang penting ketika perubahan metode kerja pasca pandemi Covid-19. Berbeda dengan WFH (work from home) yang dilakukan karena adanya pandemi COVID-19, remote work memiliki pola kerja yang lebih fleksibel, dan karyawan dapat menyelesaikan pekerjaan di mana saja, asalkan target terpenuhi atau tugas rampung terselesaikan. Menurut beberapa sumber, Work enggagement memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap work productivity, tetapi belum teruji pada work productivity remote worker. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif untuk mengukur work produktivity remote worker berdasarkan efektifitas, efisensi, dan kualitas dan work engagement menggunakan UWES (Utrecht Work Engagement Scale).  Subjek pada penilitian ini ada remote worker yang tinggal di Yogyakarta, sudah menjadi remote worker minimal 2 tahun dan minimal bekerja selama 4 hari dalam seminggu. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa work engagement mampu mempengaruhi secara signifikan produktivitas kerja remote worker. Hasil ini dapat dimanfaatkan oleh dunia industri guna mengoptimalkan remote worker sehingga perusahaan menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien.
