Abstract

Employee performance effectiveness is essential to organizational success and is closely associated with leadership practices and human resource development. This study examines the influence of transformational leadership and employee development on employee performance effectiveness. Adopting a quantitative research design, the study involved the entire population of 89 employees through a saturated sampling technique. Primary data were collected using an online structured questionnaire and analyzed with IBM SPSS Statistics version 26. The analytical procedures included instrument validity and reliability testing, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and the coefficient of determination. The findings demonstrate that transformational leadership and employee development have positive and statistically significant effects on employee performance effectiveness, both individually and simultaneously. These results indicate that effective transformational leadership practices, combined with systematic employee development initiatives, are associated with higher levels of performance effectiveness. The study highlights the importance of integrating leadership practices with continuous employee development efforts to strengthen workforce capabilities and improve organizational performance. These findings offer practical implications for organizations seeking to enhance employee effectiveness through leadership improvement and strategic human resource development.
