All manuscripts submitted to this journal must strictly comply with the journal’s focus and scope as well as its official author guidelines. Submissions are required to demonstrate clear academic originality, scientific significance, and relevance to the field of Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies. Manuscripts that fail to meet these standards will not be considered for further review.
The journal upholds the highest standards of publication ethics in accordance with the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). All submitted manuscripts must be entirely free from plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, and unethical research practices. Authors are required to ensure the originality of their work and are strongly encouraged to conduct similarity checks using reliable plagiarism-detection software prior to submission. As part of the editorial screening process, all manuscripts are subjected to plagiarism assessment using Turnitin & AI Detector. Manuscripts exceeding the acceptable similarity threshold or indicating ethical misconduct will be rejected without peer review.
Research articles that pass the initial editorial evaluation are subjected to a double-blind peer-review process involving at least two independent reviewers with relevant academic expertise. Reviewers are expected to provide objective, constructive, and scholarly evaluations aimed at improving the academic quality, methodological rigor, and clarity of the manuscripts.
Final decisions regarding manuscript acceptance, revision, or rejection are made by the Editors based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the journal’s editorial standards. The Editor-in-Chief retains full authority over publication decisions, including the scheduling and sequencing of accepted articles, with consideration given to the date of acceptance, thematic coherence of each issue, and the promotion of international and geographical diversity among contributing authors.
