PENERAPAN PENGGUNAAAN LAGU UNTUK MENGENALKAN ENGLISH BASIC SKILLS PADA NUMERASI DI SDN BINOR

Abstract

Nowadays, English has become a second language which is used in many schools. However, it is often difficult to implement it, one of the factors is the use of inappropriate methods or learning that occurs monotonously. The aim of this research is to make it easier for students to learn basic English skills, especially numeracy, using songs as a learning media. The design used in this research is action research which consists of problem identification, design, action implementation and analysis stages. Data was collected by observing and taken from the results of the pre-test and post-test of grade 1 students at SDN Binor. The results of the research showed that all students experienced an increase in their results so it can be concluded that the use of songs is effective in introducing shapes in English.
