AbstractIslamic education in madrasas is not only oriented towards the achievement of academic competence, but also has a responsibility in forming students who have spiritual depth, noble morals, and moderate and inclusive religious attitudes. However, strengthening the spiritual dimension and instilling wasathiyah values needs to be developed in an integrated manner so that it does not stop at the mastery of religious knowledge, but is internalized in daily attitudes and behaviors. This article aims to examine the reconstruction of holistic Islamic education through the synergy of spiritual intelligence and wasathiyah values in madrasas. The discussion is carried out through literature review and conceptual analysis of the role of spiritual intelligence, the principles of Islamic moderation, and its integration strategies in madrasah learning and culture. The results of the study show that holistic Islamic education needs to be built through the integration of worship habits, strengthening moral awareness and responsibility, teacher examples, inclusive learning development, and cultivating the values of tolerance, justice, peace, respect for differences, and rejection of extreme attitudes. The synergy of these two dimensions places madrassas not only as a space for religious knowledge transfer, but as an educational ecosystem that forms spiritual awareness as well as moderate social behavior. Therefore, the reconstruction of holistic Islamic education requires the integration of values in the curriculum, educator examples, religious activities, collaboration with the community, and continuous evaluation. This article offers a conceptual framework for the development of Islamic education in madrassas that is oriented towards the formation of students who are religious, have noble character, tolerant, and are able to live harmoniously in diversity.
