AbstractThis study aims to analyze the implementation of strategic management as an effort to strengthen the image and reputation of Islamic boarding schools in the era of globalization. The focus of the study is directed at the planning, implementation, and evaluation strategies carried out by institutions in facing the challenges of modernization and competition in Islamic educational institutions. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach in one Islamic boarding school that is actively developing public communication strategies and institutional branding. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews, field observations, and institutional documentation, then analyzed through reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that: strategic management is able to strengthen the position of Islamic boarding schools as adaptive and competitive educational institutions; the implementation of digital communication strategies increases public trust; innovation in educational programs and human resource management supports the positive reputation of the institution; and synergy between leaders, teachers, and students is the key to the strategy's success. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of strengthening managerial capacity and communication strategies based on Islamic boarding school values to remain relevant in the era of globalization.
