Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit manuscripts to Journal of Intelligent Computing and Applied Informatics in accordance with the following guidelines. Manuscripts that do not follow these instructions may be returned to authors for revision before the review process.

General Information

Manuscripts must be original works that have not been published previously and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions must be written in clear academic English and prepared using the official journal template (.docx).

Manuscript Format

  • Paper size: A4 (21 cm × 29.7 cm)

  • Layout: One column

  • Font: Times New Roman

  • Main text font size: 11 pt

  • Spacing: Single spacing

  • Margins: 3 cm (top, bottom, left, and right)

Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be arranged in the following order:

  1. Title (13 pt, bold, italic, capital letters)

  2. Author(s) name (12 pt, bold)

  3. Author affiliation (11 pt)

  4. Email address (11 pt)

  5. Corresponding author

  6. Abstract (150–200 words, English, 10 pt, single paragraph)

  7. Keywords (3–5 keywords)

  8. Introduction

  9. Literature Review

  10. Research Methods

  11. Results and Discussion

  12. Conclusion

  13. Acknowledgement (optional)

  14. References

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should concisely describe the research background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions in one paragraph. Keywords should reflect the main topics of the manuscript and consist of 3–5 terms.

Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals and cited in the text.

  • Table titles should be placed above the tables.

  • Figure captions should be placed below the figures.

  • Tables should use horizontal lines only.

  • Figures must be in JPG or PNG format and clearly readable.

References

References must be written using the IEEE citation style. All references cited in the text must appear in the reference list. Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley or EndNote.

Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts comply with the journal template and guidelines prior to submission.

Ethical Considerations

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are free from plagiarism and comply with publication ethics. Any potential conflicts of interest or funding sources must be clearly disclosed in the manuscript.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Authors retain copyright and grant Journal of Intelligent Computing and Applied Informatics (JICAI) the right of first publication. The published work is simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), which permits others to share and adapt the work for non-commercial purposes, provided that proper acknowledgment is given to the original author(s) and the initial publication in this journal.

Authors are allowed to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the published version of the work (for example, depositing the article in an institutional repository or publishing it as part of a book), provided that acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal is clearly stated.

Authors are also permitted and encouraged to post their manuscripts online (such as in institutional repositories or on personal websites) before and during the submission process. Such practices can facilitate productive scholarly exchange and contribute to earlier and wider citation of the published work, in accordance with open access principles.
