ANALYSIS OF USING THE TARBIYATUL MU'ALLIMIN AL-ISLAMIYAH CURRICULUM: EFFECTIVENESS AND EFFICIENCY ON STUDENT LEARNING ACHIEVEMENTS

Abstract


The research aimed toanalyze the effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation of the Tarbiyyatul Muallimin Alislamiyah curriculum in improving student achievement. This research used a quantitative descriptive statistical analysis approach, with data collection using questionnaires, observations, curriculum document analysis, and interviews with 31 respondents alumni of the 2022-2024 intake. The datas collection was analyzed using descriptive statistical testing using SPPS series 24. The results of this study indicated that: First, The effectiveness of the variable curriculum had a positive and significant impact on improving the learning achievement of students with a significant value of 0.021.It meant smaller than 0.005 and a calculated T of 2.443 that wasgreater than the T table of 1.695. Second; The efficiency of the variable curriculum had a positive and significant impact on improving the learning achievement of students with a significant value of 0.00. It meant smaller than 0.005 and a calculated T of 12.699 that was greater than the T table of 1.695. Third, curriculum effectiveness and curriculum efficiency (independent variables) had a positive and significant impact on improving student learning achievement, with a coefficient value of 0.885 with meaning all variables studied contributed 88.5%. The implications of this research, provided by the researcher to improve the effectiveness of the TMI Curriculum in the Learning Activities indicator, were all teachers and staffs of Tarbiyyatul Muallimin Alislamiyyah at the Al-Ghuroba Modern Islamic Boarding School in Sorong Regency should evaluate and control extracurricular activities, particularly language activities.
