CODEX: Journal of Software Engineering uses the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) system and the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to create a distributed archiving system that ensures the long-term preservation and restoration of the journal’s digital content.
This archiving system allows participating libraries to collect, preserve, and provide access to the journal’s content, ensuring its continued availability in the event of data loss or system failure. Through this preservation mechanism, the journal guarantees the integrity, authenticity, and sustainability of all published articles.
All published articles remain permanently accessible to the academic community, supporting open access principles and long-term scholarly communication.
