Plagiarism

CODEX: Journal of Software Engineering is committed to upholding academic integrity and ethical publishing standards. All submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using reliable plagiarism detection software.

The journal applies a maximum similarity index of 20%, excluding references, quotations, and commonly used phrases. Manuscripts that exceed this threshold, or that contain evidence of plagiarism, self-plagiarism, or redundant publication, will be rejected without further review.

Authors are required to ensure that their submissions are original works and that all sources are properly cited in accordance with the APA referencing style. Any unethical publication practices identified before or after publication will result in appropriate actions, including manuscript rejection or article retraction.
