Registration and login are required to submit items online and to check the status of current submissions.

 

Author Guidelines

  1. The article should be original, research-based, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in other journals.
  2. The manuscript does not contain any plagiarism element. The editorial board will directly reject the text that indicates plagiarism.
  3. Manuscript accepted is written in standard Arabic.
  4. The submission and the publication processes are free, without any additional fees.
  5. The article should be typed in MS Document format, Font 14 Traditional Arabic, one-half spaced on A4-paper size, and 15 to 25 pages or about 4.000-7.000 words.
  6. The title of the manuscript must be as brief as possible and must represent the content of the manuscript.
  7. The title of the article is written not more than 15 words.
  8. Authors’ names are written below the title, followed by authors’ affiliation and e-mail address.
  9. The abstract is written in two languages: Arabic and English, as a representation of the manuscript. The abstract should not exceed 200 words for each language format, written narratively comprising aims/objectives, method, and findings of the research/article.
  10. Keywords: words or phrases which are important, specific, or representative to the article.
  11. Full name(s) of the author(s) must be stated, along with his/her/their institution and email address.
  12. All references must follow the APA style as far as possible.
  13. The manuscript that has been written under the guidelines of IJ-ATL (International Journal of Arabic Teaching and Learning) in MS Word format, use this article template) must be submitted through Online Submission System using Open Journal System (OJS) on the IJ-ATL (International Journal of Arabic Teaching and Learning) e-journal portal (https://ejournal.unuja.ac.id/index.php/ij-atl/index) choose only one procedure. Then, register as one of the author or reviewer in the “Register” bottom.
  14. The manuscript article writing guidelines and template can be downloaded. The template and the guidelines of the article writing are available in MS Word (.doc) format.
  15. The authentic research manuscript should contain several aspects of a scientific article as follows: (subtitles as the order), which are: (a) the title of the article, (b) the author’s name (no academic title), (c) the author’s affiliation, (d) the author’s email (e) the abstract and the keywords, (f) the introduction, (g) the research method (h), the research findings and discussion (i), the conclusion (j), the references.
  16. The study result manuscript should contain as follows: (subtitles as the order), which are: (a) the title of the article, (b) the author’s name (no academic title), (c) the author’s affiliation, (d) the author’s email (e) the abstract and the keywords, (f) the introduction, (g) subtitles (as required) (h), the conclusion (i), the references.

  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
