Evaluation of Teaching Speaking Skills Based on Interpersonal Intelligence

Abstract

Learning multiple intelligences is learning that can develop the intelligence or potentials that students have. The intelligence that is developed is interpersonal intelligence. Interpersonal intelligence is related to the concept of interaction with others. This study aims to describe the evaluation of teaching speaking skill based on multiple intelligences in developing interpersonal intelligence. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, data collection techniques with literature study. Data analysis technique uses data reduction, data display and conclusions. This research concludes that strategies for developing and building interpersonal intelligence are implemented through panorama activities, peer teaching, group learning, etc. Researchers find tools for identifying interpersonal intelligence, and evaluation in teaching Arabic language in speaking skill through role-playing and storytelling based on the basis of interpersonal intelligence.
