ANALISIS RAGAM TEKNIK PENERJAMAHAN DALAM BUKU TERJEMAHAN MATAN TUHFATUL ATHFAL

Abstract

The familiarity of the Arabic language among Indonesian Muslims makes it important to write a translation work related to Islamic knowledge. Like the translated book Matan Tuhfathul Athfal, the book is widely used by Islamic religious teachers in teaching the science of Tajwid to their students. This research was conducted to understand the translation techniques used in the book Matan Tuhfathul Athfal in the discussion of nun mati and sukun. This research was conducted using a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. The data sources were taken from works relevant to the research topic. As for data collection, the researcher only used documentation with data analysis techniques employed in this study, including data reduction, data display, data verification, and conclusion drawing. This research shows that there are 8 translation techniques used by the author, namely: pure borrowing, literal, reduction, application, transposition, calque, adaptation, and modulation. However, since this is only the result of a discussion on the rules of tajwid for nun mati and tanwin, it is hoped that future researchers, when conducting studies on the same topic, can further develop the research that has been carried out.
