Post-Publication Discussion

JUMPA: Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan recognizes that scholarly discussion does not end once an article is published. The journal welcomes comments, critiques, and responses from readers on published articles as part of a healthy academic dialogue.

How to Submit a Comment

Readers who wish to comment on, question, or criticize a published article may send their comments to the editor at jmppascaunuja@gmail.com. The message should include the title and DOI of the article, the reader's name and affiliation, and the specific points being discussed, supported by evidence or references.

Editorial Handling

  • The editor reviews each comment to ensure it is relevant, academic, and respectful. Comments containing personal attacks, defamatory statements, or irrelevant content will not be processed.
  • Substantive comments are forwarded to the corresponding author, who is given an opportunity to respond.
  • Where appropriate, the comment and the author's response may be published as a Letter to the Editor or a Commentary in a subsequent issue, after editorial review.

Follow-up Actions

If a comment reveals a significant error, a possible ethical problem, or misconduct, the journal will handle it under its Correction and Retraction policy and its Allegation of Research Misconduct policy, following the COPE guidelines.

Authors are also encouraged to inform the editor promptly if they discover an error in their own published article.
