Withdrawal of Manuscript

Authors are expected to submit only manuscripts that they intend to publish in JUMPA: Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan. Withdrawing a manuscript after it has entered the review process wastes the time and effort of editors and reviewers. Therefore, withdrawal is permitted only for strong and justified reasons, such as a serious error in the data or analysis, an authorship dispute, or an ethical problem.

Withdrawal Before Publication

  1. The corresponding author sends a written withdrawal request to the editor at jmppascaunuja@gmail.com, stating the manuscript ID, the title, and the reason for withdrawal.
  2. The request must be approved by all authors. The corresponding author confirms this approval on behalf of all co-authors.
  3. The editor reviews the request. A manuscript is considered withdrawn only after the author receives written confirmation from the Editorial Office.
  4. Authors must not submit the same manuscript to another journal until the withdrawal has been confirmed.

A manuscript that has been accepted, or is already in the copyediting and layout stage, cannot normally be withdrawn, except for serious reasons approved by the Editor-in-Chief.

After Publication

A published article cannot be withdrawn by the authors. If a published article contains serious errors or ethical problems, it is handled under the journal's Correction and Retraction policy.

Repeated or Unjustified Withdrawal

The journal does not charge a withdrawal fee. However, repeated or unjustified withdrawals, as well as submitting a manuscript to another journal while it is still under review at JUMPA, will be noted and may be considered in future editorial decisions.
