Author Guidelines

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

  1. The article should be original, research-based, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in other journals.
  2. The manuscript does not contain any plagiarism element. The editorial board will directly reject the text that indicates plagiarism.
  3. The submission processes are free.
  4. The title of the manuscript must be as brief as possible and must represent the content of the manuscript.
  5. Authors’ names are written below the title, followed by authors’ affiliation and e-mail address.
  6. The abstract is written in two languages: Indonesian and English, as a representation of the manuscript. The abstract should not exceed 200 words for each language format, written narratively comprising aims/objectives, method, and findings of the research/article.
  7. Keywords: words or phrases which are important, specific, or representative to the article.
  8. Full name(s) of the author(s) must be stated, along with his/her/their institution and email address.
  9. All references must follow the APA style as far as possible.
  10. The manuscript that has been written under the guidelines of PEDAGOGIK : JURNAL PENDIDIKAN (in MS Word format, use this article template) must be submitted through Online Submission System using Open Journal System (OJS) on the PEDAGOGIK : JURNAL PENDIDIKAN e-journal portal (https://ejournal.unuja.ac.id/index.php/pedagogik/index) choose only one procedure. Then, register as one of the author or reviewer in the “Register” bottom.
  11. The manuscript article writing guidelines and template can be downloaded. The template and the guidelines of the article writing are available in MS Word (.doc) format.
  12. The authentic research manuscript should contain several aspects of a scientific article as follows: (subtitles as the order), which are: (a) the title of the article, (b) the author’s name (no academic title), (c) the author’s affiliation, (d) the author’s email (e) the abstract and the keywords, (f) the introduction, (g) the research method (h), the research findings and discussion (i), the conclusion (j), the references.
  13. The study result manuscript should contain as follows: (subtitles as the order), which are: (a) the title of the article, (b) the author’s name (no academic title), (c) the author’s affiliation, (d) the author’s email (e) the abstract and the keywords, (f) the introduction, (g) subtitles (as required) (h), the conclusion (i), the references.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. The title should be concise and to the point. Make the author's name, institutional affiliation and email address under the title of the article; and the authors do not need to include an academic degree.
  4. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  5. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
