Atthar: Journal of Innovative Islamic Education maintains a digital preservation policy to ensure that published articles remain accessible over the long term, independently of the journal's own website.
Preservation
- LOCKSS. This journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving arrangement among participating libraries, permitting those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
- Institutional repository. Published articles are deposited in the repository of Universitas Nurul Jadid.
- Server backup. The journal's full content and database are backed up [frequency] by Lembaga Penerbitan, Penelitian, dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (LP3M), Universitas Nurul Jadid.
Persistent Identifiers
Each published article is assigned a [DOI], so that it remains citable and locatable even if the journal's web address changes.

Atthar: Journal of Innovative Islamic Education focuses on innovation in Islamic education in the form of new ideas, approaches, and practices that renew the way Islamic education is designed, taught, and managed while remaining rooted in the Islamic scholarly tradition. It publishes research that develops, tests, and critically examines such innovations, from madrasahs and pesantren to universities.
Its scope covers curriculum and instructional design, learning models and assessment, digital technology for Islamic learning, educational management, character and spiritual formation, and teacher development, including the renewal of pesantren and madrasah traditions amid digital transformation and global change.
