Epidemi Burn Out: Strategi Organisasi untuk Meningkatkan Kesejahteraan Karyawan
AbstractThis study aims to explore organizational strategies for improving employee well-being at Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School, focusing on the roles of school leaders, teaching staff, and employees. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research delves into the phenomenon of burnout and its mitigation efforts within the context of Islamic education institutions. Data collection methods include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation to understand the experiences and perspectives of informants on the strategies implemented. The findings reveal that employee well-being is influenced by a combination of organizational policies, social support, and equitable workload distribution. Successful strategies involve strengthening communication, recognizing individual contributions, and implementing flexible policies that support work-life balance. On the other hand, challenges were identified in applying these strategies, particularly regarding resource limitations and differing perceptions across work units. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, display, and verification, utilizing content analysis, discourse analysis, and interpretative analysis methods. These findings contribute to the academic literature by enriching knowledge on organizational strategies in the context of Islamic boarding schools. However, the limitations of this study include its specific case coverage and reliance on perception-based methods. Further research is recommended to explore broader contexts and employ quantitative or experimental approaches.
